Below is a list of things one can do when they're in need of a little pick me up and a break from various struggles in day to day life:

-Take a long hot shower (or cold, whatever floats your boat)

-Write a gratitude list

-Cuddle! (with friends, a dog, or someone of your preference whatever is the comfiest)

-Eat almonds (lightly salted are my personal favorite)

-Take a walk (long & slow is better)

-Journal about your day (get it out on paper, at least it’s not in your head)

-Read your favorite book (Harry Potter works every time for me)

-Have a movie marathon with friends or family (extra-buttery popcorn is definitely a bonus!!)

-Take a nap with your favorite blanket

-Color (there are so many different themes--find one to suit you!)

-Call someone you miss

-Schedule a pedicure, manicure, or massage (treat yo self!)

-Take a long drive with loud music

-Go hiking (discover a new park in or around your city)

-Go to a cafe and people watch while drinking a really good coffee (or tea in my preference)

-Try yoga or meditation (YouTube has tons of good videos!)

-Play with your pet or visit a pet store/shelter and look at the cute animals

-Cook a good healthy meal (Pinterest yas)

-Create a playlist you love

-Practice Mindfulness

-Pull some weeds

-Wash some dishes (with nice, hot water)

-Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!!

-Write a thank you note to someone you’re thankful for

-Write a real life handwritten letter and send it to someone you love or are missing

-Play board games (Life anybody?)

-Say “I Love You” in the mirror

-Try a green smoothie (maybe it’s better mixed up?)

-Try learning a new language (you could use Duolingo!)

-Research a topic that interests you

-Get rid of old emails

-Cross something off of your to-do list
